Hello > thank you for coming here to know about me.

For a photographer, it is very essential to know who he/she is going to be working with. For without a solid connection, a great quality image cannot be made.

My name is Prateek Sharma > I am a photographer based in Gurgaon, Haryana. A management grad’ by qualification, I have worked in diverse areas > the larger parts of my professional stints have been with The Times Of India Group > GE Capital.

I grew up in Tamil Nadu (the beautiful hills of The Nilgiris), Kerala, Jaipur > Bangalore, before I moved in Gurgaon in 2010. My fascination with photography, took birth, when I was growing up surrounded by nature. As I grew with photography, my eyes began to crave for details; therefore I love the technical side of photography > try to blend it with art.

Having been an introvert most of my life, the camera is a tool via which, I can communicate. Photography to me, is a lot about what we connect with > we connect with what we have seen, what we aspire to be > what our influences have been. For me, a big influence, is music. I love the guitar > I often play a few chords. I am the Mark Knopfler, Fleetwood Mac, Pink Floyd, Don Mclean kinda guy. I love beautiful landscapes, wildlife, Budweiser, beautiful designs, patterns > Indian sweets.

My favourite quote when it comes to photography is: “I want to have a long string of images, held together by grace, because grace is that indefinable, non rational, non linear word that I am looking for” - Prabuddha Dasgupta

Thank you for visiting my website > I hope we connect to make something beautiful, something that is held together with grace.
